A place in the house.
Put your product into the daily rituals of the Northeast LA families it was made for—not just their feed.

The idea
Your most beautiful showroom might be a play cafe.
Highland House is a design-forward third place where local families with children ages 0–6 return week after week. They drink coffee, play, gather, celebrate, and discover the things that make family life better.
The parents who come through our doors care about thoughtful design, safe materials, wellness, convenience, and doing right by their kids. They read labels. They ask where something is from. Here, they discover your product inside a room they already trust.
Founded by Highland Park mom of two and commercial photographer Hannah Dunsirn, Highland House was created to be the family space she could not find: beautiful for adults, meaningful for children, and genuinely useful in daily life.
Highland House has worked with thoughtful family brands including Tubby Todd, Freestyle, and Nurture&.
Designed for brands to be used—not displayed.
Thoughtful products can live naturally within play, art, reading, gathering, stroller, and café rituals. These concept renderings show the environment currently being built.

A good fit looks like
Useful. Beautiful.
Actually wanted.
We partner with brands in play, parenting, food, design, wellness, learning, and family life. If your product makes the experience better, it belongs in the conversation.
No cluttered logo walls. No awkward sales pitches. No product dumped in a corner. Every partnership must feel as considered as the rest of Highland House.
Choose your presence
Designed for interaction,
not impressions.
Each partnership is intentionally limited, category-exclusive where noted, and built around what families will genuinely enjoy using. Only The Edit is billed monthly; all other prices are shown by term or event.
Find the right way into the house.
| Presence | Best for | Investment | Core experience |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Edit | Everyday products | $750/mo | Ongoing use + monthly storytelling |
| The Room | Furniture, design + lifestyle | $3,500/6 mo | One of 5 physical placements |
| The Gathering | Wellness, healthcare + community | From $2,500 | Hosted event + sponsored play |
| Signature House Partner | Year-long category ownership | $7,500/yr | Presence + event + storytelling |
The Edit
Your product becomes a useful, natural part of a family’s visit. Parents discover it in context, try it without pressure, and see how it fits into real life.
Exclusive category placements may include diapering and changing, hand and body care, feeding and snacks, or open-ended toys on the play floor.
The monthly fee covers an active product residency—not shelf space. We select the right placement, keep the presentation considered, protect your category from competing brands, and create fresh monthly storytelling. The three-month minimum gives families enough repeat exposure to use, remember, and talk about the product.
- Placement where the product is genuinely used—not displayed
- One brand per category for the length of the residency
- A monthly social story showing the product in real use
- A newsletter introduction with a direct product link
The Room
Connect your brand to one room, routine, or emotional moment families experience again and again—not by covering it in logos, but by making that moment better.
Choose from five intentionally limited placements: the calm corner, reading nook, art room, stroller station, or cafe snack ritual.
This is six months of repeated association with one high-use part of the house. The fee includes creative planning, thoughtful integration, recognition in the space, launch storytelling, and exclusivity within that experience. At about $583 per month, it gives the brand a lasting physical presence without a monthly contract.
- Product integrated into the chosen zone or ritual
- Tasteful “supported by” recognition
- Category exclusivity within that experience
- Two social stories and one dedicated email feature
The Gathering
Underwrite a workshop, meetup, or special play experience so families can attend free or at a reduced cost. Your brand is clearly credited for giving them that time to connect, learn, and breathe.
A 90-minute caregiver wellness morning: children play on your brand’s tab while parents join a short workshop, then reconnect over coffee. Other ideas include baby CPR, feeding workshops, sensory play, or a sponsored story hour.
This is a hosted brand experience, not a room rental. The starting fee covers concept development, space, sponsored play for up to 25 children, one house coffee or tea for up to 25 registered caregivers, guest flow, basic staffing, and sponsor recognition. Food is not included; families may purchase it themselves. Outside catering is permitted with advance approval, and all café revenue remains with Highland House.
- Event concept developed with Highland House
- Play admission for up to 25 children ($22 first child / $18 sibling value)
- One house coffee or tea for up to 25 registered caregivers
- Space, guest flow, basic hosting, and event recognition
- Food, instructors, materials, catering, or gifting quoted separately
Signature House Partner
A year-long partnership built around how your product belongs in family life. We create a custom presence that combines everyday discovery, a signature gathering, and ongoing storytelling.
Best for a brand ready to become the name families associate with an entire category—play, diapers, feeding, family wellness, children’s furniture, or another meaningful part of the Highland House experience.
This is the most immersive partnership in the house: twelve months of category ownership, an integrated product presence, a signature family gathering, and an ongoing editorial relationship. The investment reflects the planning, production, hosting, and year-long stewardship required to make the brand feel genuinely at home.
- Year-long category exclusivity across Highland House
- A sustained product presence in the space
- One signature Gathering for member families
- Quarterly storytelling across social and email
Start with an idea.
We will shape the experience.
These are a few possibilities—not a fixed menu. Planning a series or combining experiences? We create custom packages around a larger idea.
Toy of the Month
Children return to an open-ended product on the play floor while parents see it used naturally.
Newborn Basics
A diapering or baby-care brand underwrites play, education, and samples for new parents.
Caregiver Reset
Children play while parents join a short wellness workshop and breathe over coffee.
Family Portrait Day
A keepsake or photography brand gives member families a beautiful moment to take home.
Before you commit.
While your partnership is active, we do not place a direct competitor in the same category. The Edit is limited to one brand per category, The Room to five physical placements, and only three Signature House Partners are available.
Each term begins when the activation goes live. The Edit carries a three-month initial commitment. Room and Signature planning or production costs become nonrefundable once work begins. A Gathering may be rescheduled once with at least 21 days’ notice. If Highland House cancels and cannot reschedule, undelivered services are credited or refunded. Full terms are confirmed in writing.
Sponsored play for up to 25 children, plus one house coffee or tea for up to 25 registered caregivers. Food is not included and families may purchase it themselves. Outside catering is welcome with advance approval. All café revenue remains with Highland House.
You receive a straightforward recap based on your tier: what ran, what families used or attended, and which agreed deliverables were completed.
We confirm the exact placement, category, term, payment schedule, deliverables, timing, and event scope in writing so both sides know what the partnership includes.
Because each Gathering is custom, we recommend beginning at least six weeks before your preferred date. We confirm availability before anything is final.
A useful recap.
Not a vanity report.
Reporting depends on your partnership, but we only promise what we can actually track.
- Product samples distributed
- Gathering attendance and sponsored admissions
- QR-code scans and offer redemptions
- Email and social placements delivered
- Approved event photos for your marketing
- Agreed content assets completed
